Traffic lights are out at the intersection of 22nd Street and Diefenbaker Drive following a three-vehicle collision Wednesday morning.
As of 8:15 a.m., police were on the scene investigating the crash, which struck a traffic standard.
Police say there are no reported injuries.
The City of Saskatoon says the intersection is operating as an all-way stop, since the traffic lights are no longer functioning.
“The all-way stop is in effect until the electronic system that operates the signals can be repaired,” the city said in a news release.
The city says the crews are working to restore power. It’s asking drivers to be patient and cautious when passing workers in the area.
Saskatoon Transit services may be affected by the delay. Residents can check the Transit app for service alerts and real-time bus information.
In an update sent shortly after 4 p.m., the city said the traffic signals were repaired and are functioning normally.
