Saskatoon police are investigating after three separate bear spray incidents in the last 24 hours.

Police say the first incident was reported at around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, when officers were called to a bus terminal in the 200 block of 23rd Street East.

Upon arrival, officers learned that several youths believed to be responsible for the bear spraying had boarded a stationary city bus. Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy after entering the bus.

Around 8:30 p.m., police were called after a fight broke out at an establishment in the 900 block of 22nd Street West and bear mace was sprayed.

A 30-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested and charged after police found two canisters of bear spray and a large knife.

In a third incident, police were called to the same establishment at around 3 a.m. on Thursday, where a woman had been sprayed.

Police say the suspect had fled the area and they’re continuing to investigate.
