Three teens facing charges after aggravated assault in North Battleford

Three teenagers are facing charges after an assault in North Battleford left a man with serious injuries.

Battlefords RCMP received a report of an assault at a business on 100 Street in North Battleford at around 1:10 a.m. on Monday, according to a news release from Saskatchewan RCMP.

Through an investigation, RCMP said they determined a group of people assaulted a man, who received medical treatment for serious injuries.

A police dog tracked the suspects to a residence on 99th Street. Investigators arrested three 17-year-old boys, who all face an aggravated assault charge.

The teens, who cannot be identified per the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Tuesday.
