Torontonians may want to plan ahead before heading out the door as a lack of subway service along parts of the transit network and road closures throughout the city could derail their travel times.
Here’s a full list of closures:
TTC
Throughout the weekend, there will be no subway service between St George and St Andrew stations due to track work, Museum Station’s elevator installation and upgrades at Queen’s Park and St Patrick stations.
However, there won’t be any shuttle services provided for transit riders because of the construction along the route.
The TTC recommends riders take any eastbound streetcar from Queen’s Park, St Patrick, Osgoode or St Andrew stations to connect to the Yonge side.
The city says extra service will be added to these routes for the weekend.
Additionally, all stations, except Queen’s Park, Museum and St Patrick stations, will remain open for riders to connect to surface routes or to purchase PRESTO fares.
Two additional Wheel-Trans buses will be operational for anyone requiring assistance.
From Feb. 10 to 14, service between Bloor-Yonge and Osgoode stations will be replaced with nightly shuttle buses starting at 11 p.m. for planned track work. Regular service will resume every morning at 6 a.m.
Two extra Wheel-Trans buses will be operational between those stations for anyone requiring assistance.
Currently, 11 reduced speed zones are being implemented across lines 1 and 2 that could potentially impact travel times, as the trains slow down for maintenance work and upgrades.
Here’s a list of all the stations that are affected:
Line 1 (Yonge-University)
St. Clair and Davisville – Both ways
St. Clair and Summerhill - Southbound
Bloor-Yonge and Rosedale - Northbound
Dupont and St. Clair West - Northbound
Yorkdale and Lawrence West - Southbound

Wilson and Sheppard West – Both ways
Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth)
