Pedestrian struck by driver, critically injured Abbotsford

Police in Abbotsford are appealing for witnesses to a crash that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries Saturday evening.

Patrol officers “came across” the single-vehicle collision on the 32900 block of Marshall Road at around 7 p.m., according to the Abbotsford Police Department.

“The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police. The pedestrian, a 50-year-old man, was transported to a trauma hospital in the Vancouver area with life-threatening injuries,” a statement posted to social media said.
