Outdoor easter egg hunts should be planned with caution this weekend as scattered showers and a slight dip in temperatures are in store for much of Metro Vancouver.
According to Environment Canada, a mix of conditions will hit the region over the weekend.
Sunshine and dry weather are predicted for Friday, the provincial holiday, with balmy temperatures forecast to reach highs of 15 C.
The weather agency says the conditions will shift on Saturday as showers move in and temperatures dip to highs of 13 C. The mercury will drop further on Sunday, dipping to a cool 11 C as the grey skies roll in.
Much of the wet weather is forecast for after nightfall, with Sunday’s 30 per cent chance of showers rising to 60 per cent come sundown.
