A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection to an indecent act that took place on a hiking trail in Langley earlier this month.
Police were called to the scene in the 5600 block of 211 Street around 4:20 p.m. on April 5, Langley RCMP said in a news release Tuesday.
When they arrived, officers arrested a Langley man in connection to the incident, police said.
However, there are no online court records associated with the police file number, meaning no charges have been laid in the case.
In their release, police asked the public for help with their investigation.
“There were several key witnesses who left the area before police arrived,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, in the release.
“We’re asking those individuals to come forward and speak with investigators. Their information could be crucial to advancing the investigation.”
Anyone who has information related to the case who has not yet spoken to police should contact Langley RCMP and reference file number 2025-10005, police said.
