Mounties in the Fraser Valley recently seized cocaine, meth, cash and cars after searching five properties during an investigation into street-level drug trafficking.

The investigation into a group operating in Mission began in October of last year according to authorities.

“Over the course of several months, investigators gathered evidence which led the Chilliwack RCMP Drug Unit to initiate an investigation into a suspected dial-a-dope line. Utilizing a number of investigative techniques, investigators identified the suspects involved in the drug trafficking,” a news release from the Chilliwack RCMP said.

On Jan. 31, 2025, five homes and two vehicles in Mission were searched with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team. The drugs found included 172 grams of cocaine and 35 grams of crack, police said. A 2020 Tesla Model 3 and an Acura 1.7 EL were seized along with $15,200 in cash and four firearms.

“This seizure is another example of our commitment to keeping harmful drugs off our streets,” Insp. Jeff Bowerman with the RCMP’s Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment said in the news release.

“Our officers will continue to take action and hold those involved in illegal activity accountable.”

Three people were arrested and have been released. The individuals have not been named because charges have not been laid.
