$20,000 in stolen property recovered by OPP

Essex County OPP has recovered $20,000 in stolen property following an arrest.

Officers were called around 9:30 a.m. on Monday to a business on Dimar Drive in Kingsville for a theft complaint.

Through an investigation, police said they were able to identify the suspect, as well that the accused was responsible for additional theft complaints in Lakeshore.

A stolen pickup truck was found in Tecumseh on Wednesday, leading to the arrest of a 36-year-old Tecumseh man. He is now facing charges for possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and two counts of theft under $5,000.

$20,000 in stolen property, including a pickup truck that was reported stolen in Windsor, was recovered.
