The Windsor Police Service has issued an arrest warrant for a 21-year-old man wanted in connection to a counterfeit investigation.
According to the WPS, between Feb. 7 and Feb. 10 of this year, the suspect went to four different pharmacies in the city, using a total of $1,500 in counterfeit $100 bills to buy gift cards.
Police have identified the suspect as David James Ufimzeff. He is wanted on four counts of fraud under $5,000, four counts of uttering counterfeit money, four counts of possession of counterfeit money, and four counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
