The Erie Shores Health Foundation (ESHF) has opened two newly renovated palliative rooms in Erie Shores HealthCare (ESHC).

The rooms are on the second floor of ESHC and were made possible with donations from the Iacobelli family and LiUNA!625 in partnership with Transition to Betterness (T2B).

“LiUNA!625 is pleased to partner with T2B and Erie Shores Health Foundation in their mission to extend compassion and comfort to patients and their families as they navigate through difficult times,” said Rob Petroni, business manager for LiUNA!625.

“This initiative aligns perfectly with LiUNA’s Building Better Communities Initiative.”

One of the rooms was named after Sandra and Lou Macera’s parents.

“We are so honoured to name this beautiful space as a gift to our parents,” they said.

“We are thrilled this space will have a positive impact on patient care at ESHC.”
