Leamington resident charged with assault after intimate partner violence investigation

Essex County OPP say an intimate partner violence investigation has resulted in an assault charge for a 44-year-old Leamington resident.

On Tuesday at 9:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to an address in Leamington for a report of an assault.

As a result of the investigation, one individual has been charged under the Criminal Code with assault - spousal.
