Tecumseh native, Tate Carey, has made baseball history with the University of Michigan.

Tecumseh native, Tate Carey, made history with the Michigan Wolverines.

The pitcher made his first career start, throwing a no-hitter against the Akron Zips.

The seven-inning no-hitter marked the first for the University of Michigan baseball team since 1994.

On the mound, Carey gave up only one walk, striking out four.
