A Windsor driver is facing charges following a collision with a utility pole.
The incident took place just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Officers responded to reports of a collision in a parking lot in the 8700 block of McHugh Street.
The Windsor Police Service spoke to witnesses, who said the vehicle was being driven erratically, swerving over curbs, hit a small tree, then hitting a utility pole.
Police spoke to the driver and said he showed several signs of impairment. The suspect was arrested then taken to police headquarters, where a drug test was failed.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
A 36-year-old man is now facing charges for impaired operation of a motor vehicle by a drug and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
