A 42-year-old man is facing arson charges after Windsor police said two vehicles were intentionally set on fire.

On Monday just after 6 a.m., police were called to an intentional fire to a commercial property in the 2200 block of Central Avenue. When emergency crews arrived, two parked vehicles were found with significant damage.

After an investigation, officers said a male suspect caused the incident. The flames started at one vehicle, extending to the second.

No injuries were reported; however, damages are an estimated $30,000.

The suspect was found and arrested at a business in the 3500 block of Tecumseh Road East. The man now faces a charge of arson causing damage to property.
