There is a new vision for Janette Avenue and Riverside Drive.
Development group Farhi Holdings provided an update on its waterfront development day, while opening a new apartment building on the east side.
On Janette, they’re planning a quarter-billion dollar building, including 28 storeys and about 190 suites.
This marks a milestone for waterfront development that has stalled for decades.
In the coming years, the development group hopes to add 1000 units to Windsor’s downtown.
“We believe in downtown is heart and soul of community and if your hearts not function nothing else functions so we believe that we’re doing the right thing for the city.”
