The Detroit Lions Drone Show has been delayed until Saturday, due to expected snow on Friday.
Although the drone show has been moved, the flag raising and “We Want More” tour bus activation will continue on Friday as scheduled.
According to the City of Windsor, organizers have been monitoring weather and the expected snow will affect visibility.
Here’s the full “Downtown Roars: Detroit Lions” schedule
Friday, Jan. 10
- Detroit Lions Flag Raising at 10:30 a.m. at Charles Clark Square, 215 Chatham Street East, Windsor
- “We Want More” Detroit Lions Bus Tour Activation from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Caesars Windsor at the Grand Entrance off Riverside Drive, 377 Riverside Drive East
Saturday Jan. 11
- Detroit Lions Drone Show at 7 p.m. launching from the Riverfront Festival Plaza
Downtown Windsor will be the best spot to see the show. The city said if you can see the Caesars Windsor hotel towers, you will be able to see the show. Sight lines could change.
Ouellette Avenue will be closed from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The show is dependent on weather.
