It could soon be easier for Westman residents to travel to the GTA as Brandon’s airport is considering direct flights to Toronto.
The Brandon Chamber of Commerce has released a survey, asking residents and businesses about their travel habits. Questions include why businesses fly to and from Toronto, the top destinations they travel to in eastern Canada, and how many people fly through Toronto to visit their business in a typical year.
According to the Chamber of Commerce, direct flights between Brandon and Toronto could offer improved convenience, increased productivity, and economic growth.
As of now, the Brandon Municipal Airport only has daily direct flights to and from Calgary.
