Colleen Bready has your current conditions and updated weather forecast for April 24, 2025.
Thursday marks the start of four beautiful days in Winnipeg and across southern Manitoba.
A surface ridge of high pressure over the southern Prairies is helping to spread sunshine or a mix of sun and cloud Thursday afternoon.
Daytime highs across most of the south, including Winnipeg, should reach 15 C or 16 C. Brandon is right behind with a forecast high of 13 C in the sunshine.
Those conditions should make a big dent on melting any remaining snow in the southwest, after what fell there earlier this week.

Further east, temperatures across northwestern Ontario will range between 11 C and 13 C Thursday. Kenora will enjoy a mix of sun and cloud, while the rest of the region will be cloudier.
Meanwhile, Environment and Climate Change Canada said unsettled weather is expected over parts of northern and central Manitoba.
A low pressure trough is moving through the region that could bring scattered showers or flurries.
However, the forecast for most northern regions Thursday afternoon calls for a mix of sun and cloud with a low chance of precipitation.
Temperatures will climb well above freezing with the exception of Churchill, where temperatures will fall to around -5 C in the sunshine and easing winds.
The sky will clear Thursday night over southern Manitoba, which will allow temperatures to drop below freezing in many communities.
A nice rebound is in store on Friday for Winnipeg, with temperatures climbing into the upper teens in the sunshine, ahead of sunny daytime highs approaching 20 C all weekend.
