Colleen Bready has your current conditions and updated weather forecast for March 3, 2025.
So far, the month of March has come in like a lamb in southern Manitoba.
Mild conditions will continue across the region on Monday.
In fact, temperatures have been so mild for most of the past several days that you have likely already spotted patches of grass in Winnipeg.
Ever more snow will melt on Monday in southern Manitoba with forecast highs well above the freezing mark.
That said, Environment and Climate Change Canada forecasts snow will spread into southwestern Manitoba later this afternoon. If that happens, not much snow is expected in any area, and it will move into the US by this evening.

A few scattered flurries are possible tonight across the south, though.
Meanwhile, there is a chance of flurries across the north on Monday afternoon, with light snow expected around Island Lake and Gillam.
ECCC said a few rounds of light snow are likely across the north over the next few days.
Daytime highs will bounce around somewhat this week in Winnipeg. Some days will be closer to the normal high of -4 C for this time of year. Other days will be several degrees warmer.
Cloudy skies will stick around Tuesday in the city, but most of the rest of the week will bring sunshine or a mix of sun and cloud.
