A 24-year-old man has been charged with robbery after police say he assaulted a delivery driver and tried to take his car.
Police were called to the first 100 block of Montcalm Crescent around 4:30 a.m. Saturday for reports of a break-and-enter and a car horn honking.
Officers said they found two men fighting inside a parked car. An investigation revealed a 57-year-old delivery driver was assaulted by a 24-year-old man, who then tried to take the driver’s vehicle.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
The charge hasn’t been tested in court and the 24-year-old remains in custody.
