A fire at a home in Winnipeg’s North End on Friday is under investigation.
The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was called to the blaze in the 500 block of Dufferin Avenue just after 12:10 p.m.
When crews arrived at the scene, they discovered smoke and flames coming from the two-storey home. Firefighters attacked the fire from inside the home, declaring it under control around 12:45 p.m.
Everyone inside the house got out safely before crews arrived. No one was hurt.
The City of Winnipeg’s emergency social services team is providing support to displaced residents.
There are no damage estimates currently available.
