Two people have died and the homicide unit has taken over the investigation after a shooting this weekend.
Police said officers were called to the 300 block of Alfred Avenue around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday for reports a woman had been shot.
When officers arrived, a man was found outside with an upper body injury. A woman was then found inside the home also with an upper body injury.
Both were taken to hospital in critical condition, but later died from their injuries.
Police confirmed both people were shot.
Police have identified the victims as 33-year-old Sheldon Derrach Catcheway from Swan Lake First Nation and 35-year-old Shanastene Irene McLeod from Muskowekwan First Nation in Saskatchewan.
Police said their families have been notified.
