Three Hollywood stars are descending on Winnipeg to film a mob movie about the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy.
According to IMDB, November 1963 will star John Travolta and Mandy Patinkin, alongside Dermot Mulroney.
The crime thriller is expected to focus on JFK’s assassination over the course of two days, as told through the eyes of Joseph Giancana. Giancana is the brother of real-life mob boss Sam Giancana, who ordered the then-president’s killing.
The film was written by the Giancana’s nephew, Nicholas Celozzi.
At this point, details are scarce. Manitoba Film and Music confirmed the movie is filming in Winnipeg, however, it could not confirm when crews are coming to town. There’s also no word on a release date.
