No serious injuries in school bus crash involving Winnipeg police car

Watch the aftermath of a crash between a police cruiser and a school bus carrying 15 students in Winnipeg's St. Boniface neighbourhood.

Winnipeg police say there were no serious injuries in a collision between a cruiser and a school bus carrying 15 children Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 4 p.m. near Provencher Boulevard and Rue St. Jean Baptiste, in the city’s St. Boniface neighbourhood.

Police say one child was treated and cleared on scene by paramedics. The students were moved to a different bus and no one was taken to hospital.

One officer sustained minor injuries but didn’t need medical attention.

CTV News reached out to police for more details. However, they could not provide more details about how the collision occurred, or whether the officers involved were responding to an emergency at the time of the incident.
