Fans of the Winnipeg Jets are flocking to downtown Winnipeg on Saturday afternoon to cheer on their team at this year’s first Whiteout Street Party.
The Donald Street event takes place before and during every home playoff game, with thousands of Winnipeggers dressed in white showcasing their pride for their hockey heroes.

Saturday’s Whiteout Street Party includes prizes, food trucks, guest hosts and DJs. There are also three screens broadcasting the game for all partygoers to watch.

Part of the proceeds of the event will go back into the community through United Way Winnipeg to agencies that work to support those experiencing homelessness, addiction and mental health challenges,
The Jets are set to face off against the St. Louis Blues in game one of the first round of the playoffs at 5 p.m.
