The mayor of Campbellton, N.B., has died at age 75. The Campbellton Regional Community announced in a Facebook post that Michel Soucy died at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Saturday morning. It says Soucy was elected mayor during the community’s most recent municipal elections in May. Soucy was also the former mayor of Atholville, N.B., a community just west of Campbellton.
