A man has died following a crash near Balmoral, N.B., and police are looking for two vehicles in connection with their investigation. Campbellton RCMP officers responded to the collision on des Pionniers Avenue just before 11 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The 57-year-old man from Heron Bay was the only person inside. “The New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is now investigating the events surrounding this incident,” said the RCMP in a news release Friday. “Police are interested in a red 1982 Renauld Alliance and a black pick-up truck.” The RCMP did not release any additional details about the crash. Investigators are asking anyone who was travelling on des Pionniers Avenue at the time of the crash, who lives in the area, or who may have video footage of the incident, to contact the New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit at 1-888-506-RCMP (7267).
