A candy bar is being recalled across Canada due to an undeclared ingredient that could be deadly to some consumers. Cadbury is taking its Dairy Milk Oreo Candy bar off the shelves since it contains pistachios that were not included on the product’s label, according to a notice published by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) on Friday. “Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction,” the recall said. The CFIA said the candy bar should be returned for a refund or thrown out. The notice also said that reactions connected to the candy bar have been reported. The CFIA is investigating to confirm that the bar is removed from shelves, and is also conducting a food safety investigation that could trigger other recalls.
