RCMP seek 2 men after attempted theft in Sainte-Marie-De-Kent, N.B.

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men after an attempted theft in Sainte-Marie-De-Kent, N.B.

The men entered a business on Route 515 on Monday around 7 p.m., according to an RCMP news release.

Police say the men were dressed in black and had a weapon. They allegedly tried to leave the store without paying but were unsuccessful.

No one was injured, and police say they fled toward Bouctouche, N.B., in a grey Hyundai Tucson with a Quebec licence plate BQS 10L.

They are described as being nearly five-foot-10 and police are releasing surveillance footage photos to see if anyone recognizes them.

“Anyone who recognizes the men or the vehicle or who has information that could further the investigation is asked to contact the Richibucto RCMP at 506-523-4611,” reads the news release.
