Police are investigating a report of shots fired in Sydney, N.S. The Cape Breton Regional Police responded Tuesday morning to a report a home had been damaged by what looks like bullet holes. “Upon arrival, officers learned that neighbours heard bangs in the area during the overnight hours, but did not report anything to police; the damage was discovered by the occupant of the home in the morning. No one was injured,” reads a news release from Cape Breton Regional Police. A preliminary investigation has led police to believe it was not a random incident and that those involved know each other. Officers canvassed the neighbourhood in search of additional information and video surveillance. Police are asking anyone who saw or heard anything in the area of Bristol Drive, or who has additional information or video, to contact Cape Breton Regional Police at 902-563-5151 or Crime Stoppers.
