Police in Halifax are investigating a stabbing that sent a man to hospital with serious injuries early Friday morning. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an injured man lying in the 5600 block of Cunard Street before 5 a.m. Officers found a 30-year-old man suffering from stab wounds at the scene. Police say they provided first aid before the man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made at this time. Halifax police say the investigation is in the early stages and they’re asking anyone with information or video from the area to contact them at 902-490-5020.
