A 40-year-old man is facing weapons charges following an incident at a restaurant in Dartmouth, N.S. The Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a man threatening three people with a metal object after asking them for a cigarette at the McDonald’s located at 25 Nantucket Avenue. When officers arrived, they located the suspect in the parking lot and arrested him. The unnamed man is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court to face three counts of uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace.
