Police charged man, two 13-year-olds following robbery in Truro, N.S.

A man and two teenagers have been charged following a robbery in Truro, N.S.

The Truro Police Service said officers were called shortly after midnight Friday to a robbery with a weapon downtown. Police said the suspects were identified through the overnight hours and were arrested Friday afternoon.

Keith Parsons, 20, from Bible Hill was charged with:

• robbery
• wearing a mask while committing an offence
• theft
• possession of a weapon

Police said Parsons was also charged with arson after a small fire was discovered on the steps of a business on Young St.

Two 13-year-old males were also charged with:

• robbery
• wearing a mask while committing an offence
• theft
• possession of a weapon
• breach of court undertakings

None of the allegations have been tested in court.
