A man has been arrested for impaired driving after he crashed his truck, which was hauling a boat and trailer, in Hubbards, N.S. The RCMP responded to a report of a truck in a ditch on Fox Point Road around 2:45 a.m. Sunday. “Upon arrival, officers located a Ford F-150 with an attached boat and trailer off the roadway and a man climbing out of the vehicle,” said police in news release Monday. Officers suspected the driver, a 46-year-old man from Lower Sackville, N.S., was impaired so they arrested him at the scene. The man was taken to the Tantallon RCMP Detachment, where police say he provided two breath samples of 200 mg%. The man was released and is set to appear in Halifax provincial court at a later date.
