One electric bike rider was taken to a local hospital after surviving a collision with a car in Oro-Medonte.
On Wednesday around 1 p.m., officials were called to Lakeshore Road and Memorial Crescent in Oro-Medonte for reports of a crash involving an e-bike.
When firefighters arrived on scene they say the rider sustained non-life threatening injuries from the crash.
The e-bike rider was taken to Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia to receive proper care.
It is unclear how the collision happened or how much damage was done to each transportation vehicle.
The collision is still under investigation according to the Ontario Provincial Police Constable in Orillia.
