The Sunday evening rush back from cottage country was worsened after a crash on Highway 400 southbound in the Innisfil area. In a 6:15 p.m. social media post, the OPP Highway Safety Division confirmed that two right lanes were closed near the Highway 89 exit. Police say injuries are being assessed and heavy delays are expected. An OPP public information advisor told CTV News that two vehicles were involved and two occupants were hospitalized as a precaution. Drivers were urged to use alternate routes.
