Six youths charged with trespassing at construction site

Six youths have been charged with trespassing by South Simcoe Police, who claim officers found them at a construction site.

The incident happened shortly before 2 a.m. on Thursday on Holland Street West in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Police claim someone had called for “suspicious persons” at an active construction site and when officers arrived on scene at the “fully fenced off” area, they located the group of young people.

Police say the site was closed to the public and accuse the youth of entering the property without authorization.

All six have been charged with trespassing and have been issued a summons.

The youths will appear before a court in October.
