Provincial police have charged a teen e-scooter operator after a crash in Bracebridge Friday morning. According to Bracebridge OPP, officers were called to reports of a crash between an e-scooter and a car at around 10 a.m. on Wellington Street and Santas Village Road. Police say the 16-year-old operator was hospitalized with minor injuries and charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. No other injuries were reported. “Police would like to remind all road users that it is everyone’s responsibility to follow the rules of the road to ensure that everyone reaches their destination safely,” said Const. Samantha Bigley in a news release.
