$150K in stolen Lululemon goods recovered in arrest for curfew breach: police

Calgary police say a woman’s failure to make curfew check led to her being charged with possession of more than $150,000 in stolen Lululemon merchandise.

According to police, she didn’t answer the door when officers came to a home in the 300 block of Herron Mews N.E. on the morning of May 26.

This put the woman in breach of court-ordered release conditions, police say.

The next morning, police say they returned with an arrest warrant and took the woman into custody.

Police say drugs, cash and suspected stolen property were in plain view at the time.

Police say a follow-up search warrant resulted in the seizure of more than $150,000 of stolen Lululemon merchandise, along with property related to previously reported break-ins, methamphetamine and cocaine, a drug cutting agent, illegal tobacco, pistol ammunition, suspected stolen IDs and more than $10,000 in cash.

Cassandra Ruby St Onge, 35, has been charged with:

• possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (x2);
• possession of stolen property obtained by crime over $5,000;
• possession of stolen property obtained by crime under $5,000;
• possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000;
• possession of an identity document; and
• possession of a prohibited weapon.

She’s next scheduled to appear in court in Calgary on Friday.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues.
