Friday, the intersection of Fifth Avenue South and 15 Street South in Lethbridge is being converted into an all-way stop on Friday. The city says on its website that “the change is being made to improve safety for all road users, particularly students and families travelling to and from nearby schools.” Other factors include increased traffic volumes, collision history and near misses of residents. The city is adding message boards close to the intersection to alert drivers to the change.
