RCMP are investigating an assault outside the Powderhorn Saloon in Bragg Creek believed to be connected to road rage. Cochrane RCMP say that the assault happened in the parking lot on Balsam Avenue in front of the pub at 6:50 p.m. on Friday, July 17. Mounties say the victim was not only assaulted, but also had his keys stolen. The suspects were in a newer black Chevrolet crew-cab pickup truck pulling a trailer with Alberta licence plate 6PK 257. The male suspect is described as 30 years old and 6’ tall (183 cm) with a slim build. He was wearing a black shirt. The female suspect is described as a muscular brunette wearing a black tank top. RCMP say the victim suffered minor injuries as well as damage to his vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000.
