A man has been sentenced to nearly a decade in prison in the 2022 shooting death of Kyle Syryda, 39. Martin Dubitski, 42, was initially charged with second-degree murder in the case, but ultimately pleaded guilty to manslaughter. Syryda was found injured in an apartment suite at 119 Avenue and 105 Street on Dec. 7, 2022. He was pronounced dead at the scene. On Monday, Dubitski was sentenced to 9.5 years in prison for his role in the case.
