An e-scooter rider was seriously injured after a crash with a car in Red Deer on Tuesday. Mounties responded to the crash on C&E Trail near Township Road 391 shortly after 7 a.m. The 34-year-old e-scooter rider was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition, RCMP said. The driver of the car was assessed on scene. The crash is under investigation and speed has not been ruled out as a factor, police said.
