A popular eastern eatery is hoping Edmontonians will be ready to get cracking. Egg Club is planning to open 10 new Canadian locations by the end of 2026, and one of them will be in Edmonton. “We’re excited to bring Egg Club to the Edmonton community,” said Egg Club President Jason Yu in a provided statement to CTV News. “Originating in a major metropolitan city, we understand the importance of quick-service dining, and we believe our concept will resonate with every Edmontonian looking for something that’s both high-quality and convenient - especially during their daily commute.” Egg Club was founded in Toronto in 2020 by three friends. The restaurant is known for its made-to-order egg sandwiches, ranging from classic Ham & Cheese to more adventurous flavours like Chipotle Lobster, Guacamolic and Peanut Butter & Jelly. The Edmonton location will be Egg Club’s third in Alberta, following the success of two in Calgary. Edmonton’s will also be the first in the country to feature a new design concept, with an updated layout Egg Club says will deliver a “true club-like” atmosphere. “Alberta has been a key driver of our growth,” says Yu. “We’ve been incredibly welcomed through the success of our Calgary locations, and we’re excited to carry that momentum into Edmonton. Egg Club says it will announce more details, including the exact opening date, in the future.
