Warning: This story contains imagery some viewers may find disturbing. An Edmonton man was killed in a crash in Parkland County early Thursday morning. The 69-year-old was on a motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck on Highway 627 between Range Roads 273 and 274 around 6:15 a.m. He died at the scene. The 82-year-old Spruce Grove man who was behind the wheel of a pickup truck was not hurt. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Both directions of Highway 627 traffic were rerouted on Range Road 273, also known as Golden Spike Road, while a collision reconstructionist and police were at the scene, but the area was expected to open around noon.
