One man was killed early Saturday morning in a northern Alberta hit-and-run involving a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV). Athabasca RCMP were called to Corner Drive in Calling Lake around 4 a.m. EMS declared a 33-year-old man on scene deceased. Police say he was hit by a UTV side-by-side that drove off. After speaking to witnesses, Mounties found and seized the UTV involved in the crash. Officers are now investigating its driver and the circumstances leading up to the death. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact RCMP at 780-675-5122 or submit an anonymous report to Crime Stoppers.
