A pedestrian bridge is set to open in south Edmonton. The 142 Street Pedestrian Bridge will open on Saturday afternoon. The bridge spans Whitemud Drive and connects the Brookside and Brookview neighbourhoods to active transportation routes. The Rainbow Valley Pedestrian Bridge, also part of the Terwillegar Drive Expansion project, opened on July 8.
