Mounties are putting stronger conditions on a sexual offender who was expected to live in Red Deer County after his release on May 19. Kyle Soloway, 33, will now be electronically monitored on top of being prohibited from having weapons and being around children under the age of 16. Soloway was convicted of sexual interference after police say he lured young teens to meet using the internet. Police believe he may offend again. Alberta RCMP were able to impose more conditions after applying for a judicial order. “Court-imposed conditions are tailored to the offender’s risk profile and are intended to reduce the likelihood of reoffending and enhance public safety,” read a news release from Tuesday. Soloway’s picture has also been posted to Alberta’s high-risk offenders website.
