You can only pay what you can, and then all of it goes towards Edmonton’s Food Bank.” “Bouldering is a super fun activity. You can do it alone or with other people. It’s a great group of people that’s always here. You can make friends whenever you come here,” Steinhauer added. Blocs Climbing Gym will be open on Christmas from noon to 5 p.m., however it won’t be the only place open on Christmas. All Hanjan restaurants will also be serving Korean cuisine for anyone without dinner plans on Christmas. Jeremiah Daiz, the assistant manager of Hanjan South, told CTV News Edmonton what keeping the restaurant open during the holidays means to the restaurant and customers. “We realized that not everyone celebrates Christmas … we’d like to be able to serve those that don’t celebrate those things and give them a place where they feel welcome,” Daiz said. “We’re more than happy to offer a place where you feel taken care of, where you guys feel welcome and (we have) karaoke. So if you guys want to have some fun here, you can definitely grab a drink or two and sing some songs,” he added. Daiz encourages customers to double check their preferred location’s hours for Dec. 25 as each location may have different hours.
